In 2003, Mr. David J. Page, Jr. (an educator) was fed up with negative behavior in his classroom, lack of parental support and unavailable documentation to support any administrative actions. He soon noticed that other educators were having the same problems. He solicited input from teachers, administrators, parents, students and the community. A local computer programmer took his idea and notes and created a web-based platform called The Ticket Program. Needing to test the program, he contacted the three major school districts in Tennessee and one of them accepted immediately. Within thirty (30) days of implementation, students were going to class on time, following the rules and participating in the learning process. At the end of that semester, test scores for this middle school rose more than forty-seven (47) percent from the previous years. The principal could not believe the dramatic change in less than six (6) months. She was the envy of surrounding schools within her district. After the successful pilot in Nashville Metro Schools (Nashville, TN), he started a company to provide an all-in-one system capable of helping (1) parents raise respectable and responsible children, (2) educators reduce the disruption without losing valuable instructional time and (3) administrators spend more time on learning and less time on discipline. He did not want them to end up like most of his negative students. So he created the Home version in addition to the Classroom and School versions. All of them were designed to put the focus on those students/children exhibiting positive behavior. Students/children with negative behavior are given multiple corrective consequences to assist them in correcting their own behavior.
